Healthy Snacking to Keep You on Track

Disclosure: I’m excited to partner with Crunch Pak on this sponsored post! As always, all opinions are my own.

In just a few days, we’ll be in March (gasp!!), and most of us have probably deviated slightly [or completely] from our New Year’s resolutions. For those that are still going strong, a sincere congratulations and I promise you can still benefit from this post all about realistic and easy and healthy snack options!

Here’s the thing with snacks- they can make us or break us. Without them, we tend to get hangry and totally overeat at our next meal OR we may enjoy our snacks a little too much… and end up eating mini-meals (plus our regular meals) a few times a day. So planning balanced snacks are important, but frankly, we just can’t do it all.

I work with a lot of busy parents, business professionals and oh yeah- humans. The point being- we are human, we are limited and sometimes we gotta give ourselves a little grace. Meal-prepping, packing lunches and snacks for ourselves and the whole family is a downright daunting task. So, finding healthy, easy and fun snacks that take ZERO planning or creative ability is a life-saver. Which is EXACTLY why I’m such a fan of Crunch Pak:

-They have convenient, on-the-go, healthy snack options
-They save time by having a variety of items that are pre-cut
-They have a wide variety of fun snacks that range from a single serving of pre-washed/pre-cut apples to carrots with ranch and even kid-friendly snack packs that include pre-cut string cheese, cheese cubes, pretzels and more

Whether you’re packing lunch for your kiddos or just a child at heart- what’s not to love about these healthy snack combos?!
As we all strive to make small changes that lead to a healthier lifestyle, I always look for “shortcuts” that don’t skimp on nutrition. Keeping a variety of Crunch Pak’s snacks in your home fridge is the perfect shortcut that takes the guesswork out of you and your family’s snacks!

And on those really busy days where you may even scoot out the door without packing a lunch, try keeping some of these items in your desk drawer: almonds, pistachios, jerky, granola bars, nut butters, seed butters or your other shelf-stable favs.

If you have a fridge at work or work from home, stock up on yogurts, hard-boiled eggs, deli-meat and other fridge-friendly snacks then choose Crunch Pak sliced apples as your favorite dipper! I can’t think of a healthier swap than ditching the chips or crackers and grabbing a pre-sliced and peeled apple to dip in your tuna salad for lunch or a yogurt for that mid-morning snack.

I also love that Crunch Pak has party size bags of sliced apples available- even mixed apples, which is perfect if you’re like me and can’t decide if you’re in the mood for tart green apples or sweeter red apples! All of their apples are rinsed in calcium and vitamin C, which is a good thing. This helps the apples stay fresh and gorgeous, without the addition of any chemicals.

An apple a day helps keep the doctor way, but so does healthy snacking. Remember, you can’t do it all, so give yourself some grace and rely on healthy “shortcuts” for yourself and your family! Seems like the perfect time to remind everyone (myself included) the meaning of my blog, KISS= Keep It Simple, Shannon.
