Sweet n Spicy Labor Day Recipes

Disclosure: I partnered with Tabasco for a Sweet & Spicy Labor Day segment; this blog post is my own opinion and not paid for by any brand.

Fire up the grill- it’s another long holiday weekend (*insert loud cheers here*)! I’m all about boosting flavor in food and drink… but it’s ideal to boost flavor in ways that don’t pack on extra calories or add weird things in your food. From energy bites, to stuffed peppers to fruity salsa to a cocktail- you’ll find it below! #Cheers
Sweet n spicy- so many things to love about this combo- these recipes have got some sass and spice… but not too much of either.
These Spicy Chocolate Cherry Energy bites are perfect to enjoy with a glass of chilled wine or throw a few in your purse when heading out for some Labor Day weekend shopping!
These Stuffed Mini Peppers are the perfect warm appetizer and the recipe feeds a crowd!

Now for some fruity salsas with a little bit of a kick!

This Pineapple Guacamole is a hit with the whole family and this Tropical Fruit Salsa is a sure fire winner 😉 as well.
The Dapper Devil Cocktail is a breeze to make! Simply muddle a jalapeno slice in an old-fashioned glass, add 2 oz 100% Pomegranate juice, 1.5 oz of your favorite gin and ice. Stir and add a splash of club soda and a twist of lime! Sweet and spicy at its finest!

This Tropical Fruit Salsa is a sweet mixture of fresh ripe fruit (with a zing!) that fits perfectly on a corn chip and also pairs nicely with lean grilled chicken breast or salmon… can’t beat that! I hope you and yours have a blessed Labor Day weekend!
